Creative Countryside is a small independent publisher based in Lincolnshire, UK and run by Eleanor Cheetham. We publish creative non-fiction and poetry inspired by and connected to the natural world.
The next submissions window will open on Wednesday 1st March (2023) and close on Monday 20th March (the Spring Equinox).

The ethos here at Creative Countryside is one of slow publishing. We don’t sign up for the accepted norm that books need to be Amazon bestsellers in order to be a ‘success’. If you’re looking to make millions from your book, we’re not the publisher for you. If, on the other hand, you want to write a book so that you can share your story with the world. make an impact and fulfil a dream, you’re in the right place.
SUSTAINABLE
We open publications for pre-order, then print a small run on recycled paper to avoid waste. This is surprisingly rare in the publishing industry!
